Gear Set Includes: (x1) Input Shaft, (x1) 1st Straight-Cut Output Gear, (x1) 2nd Straight-Cut Output Gear, (x1) 3/4 Straight-Cut Cluster Gear, (x1) 3rd Straight-Cut Input Gear, (x1) 4th Straight-Cut Input Gear, (x1) Clutch Input Shaft, (x1) Reverse Idler Gear, (x1) Input Shaft C Clip, (x1) Retainer Key. Gear Sets are specific to transmission applications - please choose accordingly. The IAG-Spec PPG gear set suits factory 2004-2021 STI transmission cases and requires professional installation. Additional components required for installation include synchronizers, bearings and more. Transmission should be professionally torn-down for inspection and evaluated before determining additional components needed for proper installation. The 2-piece input shaft is designed for compatibility with both Subaru and T-56 style clutches. Due to the straight cut gear teeth an audible whine while in gear is to be expected and is normal. PPG Recommends Motul Gear300 75w90 Gear Oil which should be changed at 3000 mile intervals.
